2008 | Director: Bryan Singer |

This film was particularly challenging. We wanted to shoot in Berlin, but little of the original locations exist. We ended up building most of the interiors on stages in Berlin. The sets included:  The Berghof (one of Hitler’s retreats), the Wolf’s Lair (a series of bunkers where an attempt was made on Hitler’s life), the Nazi Headquarters and the interior of the war ministry. The Interior Reichsministry still exists but belongs to the American Embassy and it’s completely empty, so we had to fill it to make it from the Nazi period.

We did get to shoot in the actual location where Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg was shot. That was great. We also shot a lot of local Berlin scenes.
